What is collected
When you send a quote request, commission request or message, Shima Studio receives the details you enter: your name, email, and optionally phone number, suburb and postcode, plus what you have asked about. If you choose to attach a room preview, that image is stored privately so Shima can see your wall.
How it is used
Your details are used only to reply to your request, prepare a quote and deliver an artwork. They are not sold, shared for marketing, or added to a mailing list.
Your room photos
Photos you upload to preview an artwork stay on your device. They only leave it if you choose to attach the preview to a request. Attached photos are kept in private storage that only the studio can access.
Your shortlist
Saved works are kept in your own browser and are never sent to the studio.
Keeping it safe
Requests are sent over an encrypted connection and stored with a reputable hosting provider. To stop spam, a one-way fingerprint of your connection is kept for a short time; it cannot be turned back into your address.
Access or removal
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information the studio holds about you through the contact form. This notice is written to follow the Australian Privacy Principles.
